My eye doctor is pushing for but I really can't afford it. I'm not sure what to do.

I've had this eye problem since I was a kid and my parents didn't have the money to treat it back when I was diagnosed. Now that I'm 18 I want to do something but I don't have the money for it. I would need at least 3 surgeries to fix all my problems. I have ptosis in both eyes but my left eye doesn't open at all. Its also very crossed and faces my nose. It sounds really bad but its actually not very noticeable. My whole family has very squinty eyes so my face still looks natural and most people can't tell I have an eye problem until they are around me a lot. No one knows my eyes are crossed except family and a few friends.

If I get surgery for my I will also have to get surgery to straighten my eye because I will look cross eyed once my eyes are more visible. Its going to be very expensive.

What should I do? My doctor keeps pressuring me about the surgery.
